Operation Morning Workout: Day 1

...was an unqualified success!

As you may have seen in my "Thank you!" blog, I had a practice run with the alarm in the bathroom so that I would be forced to get out of bed to answer it. Since we close the bathroom door at night, making the alarm harder to hear, I also set an alarm for the same time on my FitBit so that I would definitely wake up.

I had all the reasons in the world to reset me alarm this morning and go back to bed, but I didn't. I couldn't fall asleep last night, then we had a massive thunderstorm which woke us up at 2 am (I looked at the time on my FitBit) and kept me up for a while. All in all, I got about 4.5 hours of sleep. Yikes!



Anyway, I got in 37 minutes of activity (cross training day, but still can't really do anything with weights with my arm/shoulder) and I am very pleased with that good start.

Well, off to the races at work - it's going to be another busy one!
