Well that worked indeed!
Drinking all that water yesterday and the very sweaty Jazzercise class last night, got me the weight loss I knew was there. I knew I weighed heavy because of salt intake. This morning I was 2 lb down over last week. This is instead of the 0.8 gain yesterday.
I'll take it. Because it is that psychological difference, I just desperately need.
I am through playing around with this lack of progress.
Starting yesterday we have had a very drastic change in weather. It was pretty nice for a Wisconsin February week end. But today it is around 8 degrees and we are having wind and we're having a light snow. We are getting another arctic blast the rest of this week. That means I must do some sort of extra exercise in the house. I will do the strengthening exercises that I have from my physical therapist.
I decided that I am going to interval my weeks with the number of Jazzercise classes. One week doing 2 classes/week and the next week doing 3 classes/week. I thought I would do Monday and Wednesday one week and Monday, Wednesday, Thursday the other week.
I finally got the word on the new weekly class structure for Jazzercise. Monday and Wednesday nights will be a class they call fusion. Fusion is done with about every-other-song being a routine done with weights. I ended out doing that last week on those days and then I did Thursday which was dance mix, a much easier class. I know the instructor who did the dance mix quite well and I was joking around with her. I saw her in the locker room putting her shoes on, as I walked in. I stated to her in a jokingly gruff tone "You are not doing fusion are you?" She straightened up and looked surprised and said no. I said "good! because we have done fusion twice this week and my butt is sore". "Last night even these really fit ladies were complaining about it". She started laughing as well as the fit ladies who were in there. She said "I don't know a fusion, I don't own a fusion, I just do plain old dance mix!" Yay!!! says me.
Well anyways, I think it is important to not overdue it to a point where a person is not wanting to go to exercise. I will do fusion once a week. So I will hit the Monday fusion class, But from there the other class with be dance mix or interval. Those classes are no problem for me. Maybe, as I get stronger I will be fine with 2 fusions classes in one week, but not for now.
For now I need to look forward to Jazzercise class.
Yeah! I wish I could get into that position.
But who knows I might...in a year or two.
Happily going about my business today. Good breakfast had. Good lunch packed. Good dinner planned.
Glad to be inside and not out in that cold and wind.
