Well, I am glad to have the Super Bowl over with.
Was it not the most boring game?
Well I was clad in my Packers Garb.

I was so tired from the riding clinic the day before. I was tired Saturday night but it really hit me on Sunday.
Here is a picture of me and my horse working an obstacle at the clinic/workshop.

For the big game we had our kids and my sister and her husband and one brother in law over. That b-i-l 's wife, my sister, was sick and didn't come along. I kept the food consumption down. We changed the menu to baked wings instead of super nachos. That helped.

I see one of the problems with the day yesterday is that I didn't have a complete plan for the day. I had a great breakfast. I invented a really good Mediterranean omelet that came in at just 250 calories. Then I went back to the barn and did all the evening chores early, so I wouldn't have all that work at game time. I just had to put the horses inside at 5:00. Then as it became a little past lunch time, I realized I was hungry. I had no plan for lunch and that was bad. I ate salty carby snacks. Even though I did hold the reins on myself, it was all carb and all salty. Then as people started to come to the house, they brought snacks which got placed up on the bar. I should have made a little plate and been satisfied with that. But No, I sat at the bar and grazed. I have to give myself some credit, I did not graze like I used to, at all! but still.

So it was salt! Definitely salt.

It made me show a 0.8 lb gain today but again, I attribute that to salt. I am not worried about it and I plan to drink a lot of water today and reweigh tomorrow. That is because I snuck on the scale on Wednesday or Thursday and it showed a significant loss on that day. So I will weigh again.

But what ever! I am not going to agonize over it.

Note to self, have a plan for the entire day, when we have something like this at the house.

It is back to business today. I have Jazzercise tonight.
I have a lean meal planned for dinner.
I have a good lunch along with me today at work.

But it sure is a Monday!

Be Well My Friends,
For The Love Of Health!

Funny now, even when we "cheat" on our meal plan, it is never like it used to be. Good for you for "getting back on the horse".
