A Big Personal Victory!

I'll tell you about the personal victory in a minute,
First I want to tell you about the heart ice cream sandwich. I don't know the recipe for the ones in the picture, but let me tell you about a nice treat you can make that is not sinful at all.
You can take 2 chocolate graham crackers (130 calories), Sandwich them with Cool Whip Free. 15 calories for 2 Tablespoons. To tell the truth I would probably load it up with maybe 6 Tablespoons myself. Look at the big treat that would be for under 200 calories. You could add fruit to that, if you wanted to make it pink like this one. I am wondering if you wrapped it up and put it in the freezer, whether the graham crackers would get soft like a real ice cream sandwich?
My personal victory.
Yesterday I hauled myself and a friend to a riding clinic to try out a new sport on horseback. That was a blast.
I packed my lunch, with all healthy food and drank water all day. It was a 2 hour drive. On the way hime I had to take my friend to her barn and help her unload her horse and put all her stuff away. Then drive home and do the same. Luckily I had a third friend along who didn't bring her horse and so I had some help. It was after 8:00 when I finally got in the house and I was famished. Mike had already ate bacon and eggs for supper. We discussed going up to our local country tavern for dinner, for me. I thought about all they have there is fried tavern food. So we said lets go to Culvers, they have salads. On the drive there I envisioned both burgers & fries and salads. When I stood in the restaurant looking at the menu on the wall, I kept going back and forth and even considered their fried chicken dinner and their fried fish dinner and their shrimp basket.
What should I do? Well I did good!
I ordered the Chicken cashew salad! and had their diet Root Beer. They have the best diet Root Beer.
I only used a tiny amount of the dressing that comes with the salad. Using the Weight Watchers Fork Dip.
I felt so good afterward. That salad hit the spot and gave me no guilt!
As we got in the truck to go back home, I looked at the sign which said the "flavor of the day" was chocolate cheesecake! I told Mike I was sure happy I never read that while we were in the restaurant.
Be Well My Friends,
For The Love Of Health!
