How my week end is going.
Above is the flowers I bought after work yesterday! All those flowers for $10.
I love them and they are working. I look at those flowers and I remember that I bought them to remind me to keep on track.
I was mildly upset with Mike this morning. While I was out doing horse chores he prepared a breakfast for both of us. While it was nice that he made us breakfast, I hadn't planned on it and I wanted to eat a week day style breakfast that would be only under 300 calories. I put the breakfast he made for us in the food tracker and it was well over 500 calories. grrrr!
Well I told him thank you, but...
Lunch went as planned.
That is a sub sandwich with a cucumber "bun". It really worked out well. There is 2 slices of low fat beef deli meat, a slice of low fat cheese, a tablespoon of light cream cheese with sliced scallions in it and about a tablespoon of chopped black olives. The only think that might have made it better would have been some sprouts. I had it with a little spinach salad and some yellow cherry tomatoes. The sandwich was a littl emessy but not as bad as I imagined. Holding it together with toothpicks helped.
I got to ride my horse this morning at an indoor, so we had a good work out.
I decided to change the dinner menu to quesadillas. I have all the ingredients to make those, including low carb tortillas, roasted chicken, and low fat cheese. Our grandson likes quesadillas, so this will work out well.
