Whole30 Journal Day 7

Sunday, January 24, 2016

Again with the triggers! I'm actually pretty fascinated by it. We had a ton of snow the last two days and it took an immense amount of self-control to follow the program. It's really interesting how many different food associations I have. For instance, this was the first time we didn't make grilled cheese and tomato soup on a snow day. Yet, DH and I both thought about it. I'm also realizing how many times a day I get the urge to snack. Having a meal plan and prepping food ahead of time is really helping me stick to the program though. Tonight we also had our first dinner out and I'm proud to say we both stayed Whole30 compliant! I had a burger with guacamole, salsa, no bun and a side of broccoli. I was only moderately tempted by the onion rings my in-laws ordered. Losing this weight is too important though and I'm determined to stay on program. One day at a time, one meal at a time, right? P.S. I'm super exhausted. Can't wait for that to go away!
