I think I pretty much talked myself INTO not completing the full 2 months. Those last 2 weeks were right at Christmas and between the impromptu socializing with lots of alcohol flowing, and having to move out for a week to make room for a visiting chef, I just did nothing.
I then went into a bit of a downward funk and it's taken till this last week for me to pull myself out of it. Of course, plenty of damage is done in 3 weeks. On the up side, once I did start up working out again, I felt quite strong.
I am going on vacation next week so decided not to commit to another program just yet, although I may well do on my return. I've just been picking a workout from my BOD (BeachBody on demand) or putting in a DVD. I decided to add in some weight training so yesterday tackled one of the new Hammer and Chisel workouts. Boy I feel it today so I must have worked some muscles hard that have not been used to it.
Our LTGL challenge this week is food prepping. I started doing this for the first time ever back in November when I started Insanity and I quite like it. It's so convenient to just heat up the prepared meal after a workout. That's working for the 4 days I am in office. It's the other 3 days of the week that are causing me to hold on to the lbs.
This week will be all about getting things done before vacation, so at least I won't have to think too hard about eating.
