Supper and tv
Saturday, October 24, 2015
When I got home last late afternoon, I cooked some rice. I only needed 1/2 cup, and cooked more and strained it. Then I watched Judge Judy on tv. Then I got the last of my refrigerated basic hamburger mixture that was getting a little air burn in the refrig, and mixed it with 1/2 cup of rice, and 1/2 can of green beans. Then I watched the news or some parts of it until it became a zombie show from what some of the area parents, a very minute few, I'm sure, are doing to their kids. So then I turned it off. During Wheel of Fortune, I added 1/2 cup of cottage cheese to the "casserole" then baked it until Jeopardy came on, and with Alex Trebeck, I ate my supper with an apple and a glass of milk.
Then I put the dishes in the sink soaking and went on to the rest of my life.
Today, at lunch time, I had 1/2 cup of rice, 1/2 cup of green beans, strawberries and grapefruit, with a cup of milk. Everything was prepared except for slicing the strawberries, which didn't take long at all.
This morning I looked through the cookbook and found a recipe for Eastern Rice Loaf, and I made a list of pine nuts, chopped nuts, and parsley that I will stop at the store today and get.
