It's been two weeks since I've logged in to SparkPeople.
What was THAT???
I thought I had my act together, I'd made good plans, set shorter term goals, and hauled my carcass out of bed to exercise in the a.m.
Interestingly enough, I did continue to exercise.
I haven't weighed in yet, so I have no clue how far I've "backslid."
On the positive side, I was able to keep up with a very active 4 year old on Saturday. And I haven't been binge eating.
On the negative side, I have not been tracking my food, or exercise, or water, or steps.
This isn't about appearance, or clothes, or self-image. This IS about getting myself healthy, stopping the self sabotage, facing the fact that I AM THE ONLY ONE responsible for my health & wellbeing.
I'm here to confess that I have goofed this up big time. I need to get healthy, not just to fit better into my clothes, or to get big discounts on my health insurance. I need to do this for the right reason -- to be a good steward of the one body with which I've been blessed.
It was so awesome to log in today and catch up on everyone's blogs. SparkPeople is a huge blessing. I know that I would have failed miserably before now if it weren't for my SparkFriends.
