Beautiful day here in NS. We are having more summer like weather now than we did in July.

This is my third day using sparkpeople. Im really liking it so far. I love the app. It is very easy to use and has lots of features. The website is overflowing with information and motivation. I am learning the calorie aspect of things... I was weight watcher follower for many years and even had reached lifetime status once so I think of foods in terms of "points" so that is hard to shake.

Stayed up late last night watching the Emmy's ... Normally I would have ate a bunch of junk food but instead I just enjoyed the show... I DVR'd the show and started watching it 30 minutes in so I could forward through the commercials and therefore had no "extra" time to get up and look in the fridge. It seemed to help... Of course right now Im full of determination... In a few weeks it will be more of a struggle to stay smart in these situations. Loved Andy Samburg as the host... he is so funny ... he is a favorite of mine from SNL! I love to watch clips of him on youtube when I need a laugh.

I'm a fellow member of the Canadian East Coasters team... I'm on PEI and just started with Sparkpeople again yesterday (I have done Sparkpeople between each of my four babies, and love it!). Nice to meet you!

Hello...Spark People has become my support groups for you see I am a recovering grease-holic. Yes, it is true if you can "fry it" I can "eat it".

Moderation is a very important key to being successful in our journey. One day at a time....Look for small victories...Look for non-scale successes.

Spark People research has found that people who get involved in social teams tend to be more successful in their efforts.

I want to personally invite you to join the SparkPeople's Official Healthy Habits Challenge Team. There you will find others that will support you in your journey and you will be able to help others as well.

On our team page BOBCATGIRL76 one of our team leaders has a great article to check out. Let me know what you think.

We are here to help. YOU can DO this! Oh by the way...have you ever tried Fried cardboard, don't have much favor but a nice crunch....lol....Live life today.
