*Results* I completed the 3 Day Military Diet!

So, I did it.
I followed this 3 day diet to the T and got amazing results.
I was very skeptical about the diet, I mean, it included servings of ice cream for goodness sake, BUT my testimony is that it does work.
I lost 7.3 pounds...in 3 days.
Now, I am not condoning a 'fad' diet by any means, but for me I needed that jump start and this did the trick. Now I am looking forward to going back to healthy eating and counting my calories, keeping the portion control, getting in some exercise and drinking that water. It helped me develop back the good habits I had all but forgot about.
Was it easy, well no..someone likened it to boot camp!
And it did feel like that at times, especially day 3. But I also learned that if I managed to preserver and give it a little time during those periods of feeling famished, it would subside and I wouldn't kick the bucket! Honestly, the most difficult part for me was the limited coffee, just 2 cups a day was tough.
Overall for me it was manageable. I liked the structure, the discipline required and I didn't feel too deprived because at the end you got the little treat of the ice cream which I think is totally a mental thing that works. So I say, if you need a little jumpstart it's worth trying. It's not something for long-term but for 3 days, what can it hurt? That being said, this isn't for everyone, I just want to share a little success I have found in a rather odd way. We all need to find what works for us, I am just happy to be back on board and on my way again!
