My boyfriend's part in my goal to strive for a healthy lifestyle is very interesting. It's like he doesn't want to admit to being healthy or even wanting to be healthy. But, it seems like he does.
He will let me decide what we eat. If I choose to be healthy, than we eat healthy. If fruits and veggies are available (i.e. in his refrigerator) than he will eat it. He even likes to bike. Someday I'd like to learn so we can go together on the weekends. He'd be in heaven and I'd be, too, because I am an exercise nut.
I'd even say he is one of my biggest supporters with my fitness goals. When I was in the thinking stage of going skydiving, he goes out and tells his parents. Um, looks like I am going skydiving. He tells (brags) about me alot like that.
Often it seems like he's not listening to me talk about fitness but later on I find he was listening. For example, he told me I should do a video blog. He knows I used to write a blog. This actually got me thinking that I should blog more often. Lately, I feel like I don't have anyone to talk to about fitness with undivided attention. I have a couple friends but I don't feel like I get to talk. This is my space to talk. I've posted stuff on FB but it's not the same and I want to get away from FB. There's alot of negativity and "should dos" on there that I want to get away from.
So, one of my goals in August will be to post a blog every week in August, about anything. If we go by history, it will be about what I am up to each week, haha.
My other goal is to try to make getting up in the morning to workout a habit. The sooner the better. A consistent time could really help me and I do like starting my day with some exercise. Also, I will be going back to school in the fall hopefully to take chemistry so I can eventually get an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy. So, I will really do need to learn to embrace the 6 am hour.
This goal will help me with my third goal of working out four times a week or 16 times a month. Ideally, M-F would be even better. This month I did 2x a week except for one week for a total of 12 times for the month. I know I can do better than that!
