Ireland Blog

Wednesday, July 29, 2015

Okay I know that if I posted a blog and it wasn't about Ireland one of my friends would have to have a word with me. So here is the Ireland blog. It will mostly be picture, 'cause pictures are good.

Firstly, for those that don't know I like to travel. I generally traveled by myself as my husband is not one for international travel. Turns out my mother in law has started traveling and loves it. So sometimes we travel together.

Yes- I have been blessed with a mother in law that I get along with REALLY well. We spend DAYS together sharing a car, hotel room, etc. This is our second trip. I drove, she navigated. It was an interesting experience!

Anyway, we went to Ireland in May. Here are some highlights in picture form.

Cork screw hill. It was a, yah, uh, it was my first real day driving. After this everything else was easy. There was a triathlon sharing the bike portion on this road. AHH! See the bikers? They are probably still mad at me.

Cliffs and such from the bottom and the top. They are really tall (like 800 feet worth of tall)

Me driving. The little dog is Raleigh, he is my full time traveling buddy. He has concerns about getting past that bus. We just watch those two buses slowly get by each other. EEP!

Picture with me in it. It was windy so the bandanna came out.

Up some fun roads to the top of a pass. Looking down.

And it wouldn't be Ireland without at least 1 picture of a castle.
