4HB Round 3 - Week 2

I am back on spark religiously again. Feels good. Happy to be back on track. The purpose of this blog today is so that I have record of what I am doing. Last week I went back over the last 6 years of eating reports, blogs and posts that I had made to see what exactly I had done during all of my healthy "on track" moments so that I could replicate that now. If you are reading this, please know that I wrote it purely with myself in mind and it might be dull!

That said....started The 4 Hour Body again last week and I'm going strong. This lifestyle is easy to follow and produces results for me and my body so I am sticking to what I know. The first time around I lost over 20+ lbs and I think 13" before my wedding, the second time around I lost a lot of inches and toned up significantly while doing Jamie's LiveFit program at the same time. This time around I have a goal of getting back to my wedding weight (and pre baby weight!) by October 6, 2015. I feel it is doable.

Last week's results...weigh in took place on Saturday July 11 and I was down 9 pounds and 3.5 inches. I am very happy with that and I know the extreme amount of weight is mostly water weight that I had been carrying but I am glad that it is gone as I have been very bloated and gross the last month. They say when you put weight on quickly it comes off quickly and I had gained about 7lbs since May so this makes sense. If I can see a 2 pound and inches lost each week that will be awesome.

So far I have been on point with the diet. I haven't eaten anything that is not approved. I know the other times I did this I had days where I would have a plain baked potato with my chili (when travelling) or a low carb tortilla or rice in my Chipotle bowl (or even an oz. of dark chocolate)...something like that. I plan on doing that when necessary because I have the history of those items not making me stall when eaten 1 or 2 times a week, however I have not had a need to eat those items yet but it's nice to know I have the option to turn to them when/if absolutely necessary.

Today is Wednesday- 10 days into this round and my clothes are feeling good again. I don't feel like I'm stuffing 10lbs of potatoes in a 5 pound bag today! Water intake is good, can even drink black coffee again! Seems like my face has slimmed down some as well which is great. I noticed over the last 4 months that my face has gotten these...well I'll call them "fat lines" when really they are just my cheekbones having extra flesh. No bueno. Time to reclaim my face. It's amazing what stress and lax eating habits can do in just a short amount of time. But...that's why I'm here again.

    Keep up the good work.

    Everyone loses weigh differently and there are many diet plans out there. What works for one may not work for someone else. Mine is I am not on a diet. I choose to either eat or not eat something and if I do it is only a small amount. I still try and eat healthy.
