Feeling a bit motivated today

What have I done differently recently that I haven't done in the past? I have given up soda (NEVER THOUGHT I COULD), I have increased my fiber intake, increase my water intake, increased my active minutes. I am consciously aware of trying to get as many steps as I can in a day. Which of these made the difference? All of them, none of them... who knows. All I know is that I am down 36 pounds and I am feeling great. I have more energy, I feel lighter on my feet. I have lost inches. I feel invincible (knowing full well that I'm NOT). I have decided to make small changes once every other week. Incorporate something new in small increments. The fiber thing was a big deal because I don't eat alot of fibrous foods, but I have made myself and realized that I actually LOVE IT!

Anyway, just a quick note to say that I am feeling motivated. And it's actually not just today. I have been feeling motivated for a while lately, but today was awesome to weigh in and see such a drastic decrease (I lost 6 pounds in a week, though the week before was 0). I'm excited, I'm starting to believe that I can reach my goals. That's encouraging when I have felt for years that I was not capable of losing weight. Now I know that I wasn't capable of really wanting it!
