I am taking part in the 5% challenge once again.

I didn't complete the last one - in fact I drifted away part way through it because I just couldn't muster up the will to sign onto the computer at all.
I have been allocated a different team this time. I am sad to not be part of the team with whom I have previously had so much success, but I don't have any ill feeling for their decision to not have me back - the logistics of planning teams/keeping numbers even etc must be a nightmare enough and it stands to reason that not everyone can stick with the same team all the time. Also, with a new team comes a prospective 50 new friends, which is awesome! I do feel in a lot of ways the activity level of my new team suits the way my life is right now. I don't come online every day and was never too worried if I didn't post my results until the end of the week, as I knew there were enough members doing the maximum 120 each day that my 50 or so minutes a week made little difference. In my current team, though, my numbers matter; I can see the difference as my posting nibbles away at the total and I feel a little more important in the grander scheme.

That sounds a little silly, I guess either you will get what I mean or you won't - no matter really.

I don't want to sound as though I am down on my previous team, either. I loved being a part of the team; we had lots of superb cheerleaders, the motivation was really high and there was pretty much always someone online when you needed - but the price of that level of cheering is that being offline for a day or two leaves a heap of messages to catch up on each time, which in turn made me think twice about signing in if I only had a few minutes to spare. Totally my issue - the volume of messages are essential to the way that team runs, but the more laidback approach of my current team is suiting me whilst I can't sign in several times a day and be completely on-the-ball with things.

So here I am.

I am mostly getting in about 10-20 mins a day of any continuous activity, trying to up my intake to summer levels and aiming for another 7lbs loss after a minor gain during my down-time.

Totally do-able!
