I found this post and thought I would try this. Anybody else want to try it, feel free. It came from a sparkpeople member. It would be good for all of us, don't you think?

Here are the April 2015 Facial Exercises. However, if you do not like these exercises, you are not obliged to do these. Check online for Facial Exercises or check on the next thread, and you will see a whole wad of them for you to choose from. Please do your exercises for a minimum of 5 days a week. Do choose the days that best suit you. If you can do them every day, your face will thank you for that!

Please note that I've inserted a Facial Massage Program at the end of the exercises. You may want to do your facial exercises on one day and then massage the next. It's up to you! Take as long as you want for the exercises. Isn't your face worth it! emoticon

Simply type in an X on the days on which you have done your exercises.

BEFORE YOU START EXERCISING, IT IS BEST TO LUBRICATE YOUR FACE WITH CREAM OR WITH WATER (if you so wish, but the skin does stretch a bit more doing this).

Start by warming up the face gently tapping the cheeks and the rest of the face and neck with the flat of your hand. Go all over the face this way three times.

Next hold your ear lobes firmly between thumb and forefinger. Work you way up and around the edge of the ear rubbing your fingers back and forth, then work your way back to the bottom again. Do this 3 times. These points give an overall toning effect to the whole face. Your lips should be relaxed and gently together.

In a similar way to the ear exercise take the bulbous end of the nose and work between your thumb and forefinger (do this gently as this can be a very sensitive area). There are a lot of nerve endings here and this is the acupressure point to energize the face.

Your face should now be feeling warm and fairly relaxed but ready for exercise.

    I couldn't get to the thread link, is it on your hypothyroid team? (I am hypo too! my thyroid was removed when I was 17, now I am turning 60!)

    My face could use some tone and a massage sounds great! I will have to try this!
