Whole30 Day 7

My best friend introduced me to the whole30 program, and my boyfriend and I started on March 30. Today is day 7 and, surprisingly to me, we're doing great. I'M doing great. I'm not experiencing the "carb flu" I expected, although I am starting to tire of some of the foods we've been eating. Tim loves salad and meat, so it's not a huge dietary change for him, really. And I like those things too, but I'm looking forward to using some of the recipes to change up those same meats.

Yesterday, we went to a get-together where most people were consuming beer or wine (our faves). But we didn't even feel the strong cravings then.

I also cycled down to my brother and sis-in-law's house, which was 6 miles and a lot of hills.

This month is always a stressful one at work. This past week has been even more so in another way, but somehow, I'm still managing to stay on track. I celebrate that.
