This morning, I saw a new recent-low on the scale. I don't weigh in every day, and don't record every time I do weigh, but in terms of what my records show, the last time I weighed what I did this morning was March 27 *last year*. It's like I turned the clock back a year on my body. Wait, no, it's not, because this time more of it is muscle!!

I'm pretty pleased with that accomplishment. It motivated me to make the graph I've posted above. The text is illegible here, I know, but you can see the idea...it covers about 4.5 years of weigh-ins, including my pregnancy (the highest point on the graph is my highest pregnancy weight). The graph shows that I do have more work to do to really be able to say I'm better off than I've ever been before, but it also shows that this school year my weight has been on a downward trend, in contrast to last school year when it generally went up (sure, there was a helpful dip that made June lighter than May, but then July 16 I was pretty much at my heaviest post-baby ever, and I think I may even have missed recording a reading around 156!). I am SO glad I hired my trainer, and I am SO glad I am still going to the gym regularly (when I'm not sick and the weather doesn't keep me from getting to the gym safely). My diet still needs work, but I am learning things in that area, too.

So...go me!! ...and go me back to the gym, to keep that line trending down :).
