Why I keep on trucking...

Wednesday, February 04, 2015

I had no idea how much pain I would be in the majority of the time as my body shifts and changes after weight loss surgery.

That being said I want to take a moment to dream and think about why I did this surgery. What motivates me to keep going. What I can look forward to in my new healthy body:

I want to go to Six Flags. I have never been to the amusement park and since gaining weight I haven't even tried as I knew there was no way I would fit in any of the rides.

I look forward to having energy. My goal in life is to start and run a sanctuary for animals with a strong focus on the senior animals. My dream is to build a large hotel type building so that not only can I help animals, but I can help people. It would allow me to bring in the homeless, or veterans, or even convicts that may not have any other choices for a roof over their head and gainful employment. This endeavor will definitely require me to have energy.

I look forward to horseback riding, biking, hiking, cruises, flying, and all the other things that my weight held me back from. I want to fly to Hawaii to celebrate my 10th anniversary with my hubby next year. I want to be comfortable in my body. I want to add years to my life and reduce the amount of medicines that I am on. There are so many great things heading my way, all I have to do is keep on trucking.

I am so thankful to the Lord at how smooth it went getting approved for the surgery and that I even had the opportunity.

You Go.. Got any room..? You will do this and I am not sure of how I could have done that.. It has taken so long to get back from this last surgery.. I had to have bowel surgery and it has been two years here in a couple of weeks.. I still have a time picking up things.. like a gallon of milk.. But I am headed to and will make my goal only have about 10 pounds but that is a lot better looking this way cause I have lost 54 and I know I have earned every step I have taken.. I guess this was why I needed this team.. I had to retire early and didn't want to then I didn't feel good.. Surgery.. Pups and pushed pulled and then thought of how alone I felt.. but thinking about it we are never alone.. We choose to feel that way.. So your gaols are set and when you get on the roller coaster tell me how much fun you have.. I liked that ride.. I would end up in contraction.. I don't know what to say... dear lady, you're inspiring, and I'm not just echoing a sentiment (I've been known to speak fluent sarcasm ;))! God bless you, and I hope to improve my own self-confidence and enthusiasm to match yours!
