I am a little nervous

Friday, January 30, 2015

Today is the first day in almost 2 weeks, I do not know exactly what I am going to eat for dinner. We are talking about going out to eat, so I have planned that into my calories. I told them we can go one of these three places and no where else, and I know what I can eat at each of those places. BUT we may not go. If that is the case I will be eating dinner at home, which is not a bad thing. I have some left over roasted veggies and all I will need to do is cook a chicken breast or something. It is just the not knowing that bothers me. I have stuck to plan so closely. Ok, I feel better just getting that off my chest. I will let you know how things go.

If you cannot tell, I am a worry wart! I worry all the time. One of my bad habits I am going to kick in 2015! emoticon

I hope the uncertainty turned out well. Actually, it's good preparation for your healthy lifestyle journey. Sometimes plans go awry and you have to regroup and make the best choice possible.

Going out to eat can be difficult; but if your careful and order food without sauces & dressings (on the side) and make healthy choices, you should be okay. emoticon

I feel like getting it out helps so I think it's cool that you blogged out your worry. I find a lot of times as I blog it out I start to feel not so worried any more or the solution comes to me as I'm writing or later on as I continue to process it. I think the more positive experiences you get under your belt it will help with the worry to settle down or that you can talk yourself out of it faster which is also nice!

It is annoying to have things up in the air. I like to know what I'm going to do too that way I have a better idea what snacks to have or treats etc. but if I don't know it's like too open ended! I think that like you are doing thinking through all the possibilities helps so you can be prepared for any of them, but it's also nice to chillax and be flexible too. Hope your day goes more within your hoped plans than not!

I totally understand. I am the same way. I very seldom go out to eat (maybe once a month is that) because it is just to stressful for me. I would rather have it all planned out as to what I am going to eat. I also know exactly what is in my food at home. Never know at a restaurant - no matter how careful you are. I also always feel sick every time I do eat out.

I will be praying for you that it all works out for you today. Glad you talked about it - sometimes just getting the words out is so very helpful.

I am cheering you on. Alice
