Use Sparkpeople Anyway That Works..Just Use It

I came to a realization today. One I'm sure I've had in the past but it came to me again today and I thought I'd write about that.
Now, don't kill me, I'm not a hardcore user of Sparkpeople. Now let me explain. I track goals, interact with friends, find recipes & exercise videos (thanks Coach Nicole), tips, and to weigh in. The one thing I probably don't do is follow a Sparkpeople eating plan. When it comes to that I do my own thing.
What I truly love about Sparkpeople is the wonderful friends I've made here and the ability to use the website as it suits me. I find that when I make the attempt to login daily to track my water or write to friends, whatever, I do better with my weightloss.
A few years ago I lost 140 lbs and gained it almost all back. During that time I would login to Sparkpeople once in a blue moon, if at all. This past week I've made it a point to login daily, sometimes even more, and combined with eating right and starting exercise I'm real happy to say I lost 7 lbs this week. My current total weight loss from my heaviest starting weight is 45 lbs.
So, the moral to this little blog today is NEVER give up and use Sparkpeople, whether it's a few tools from the site or every single part of this site, just use it, IT WORKS. Especially having all these wonderful friends. Much love to all of you. We can do this TOGETHER.
