Azure WEC - Blog about quiz

As part of our WEC to gain insight, we took a Personality Type Quiz. I got:

ISFJ - DESCRIPTION

ISFJs are warm and kind people who value harmony and cooperation. They are very aware of and concerned by other people's feelings, which make them very likable personalities. They usually have a rich inner world that is hard to guess.

ISFJs have an exceptional memory for things that are important to their value systems. They are very good listeners and are very sensitive to other people's feeling as well as to their own feeling: they generally remain very discrete about what they understand until they feel the individual really needs help.

They have a strong sense of responsibility and duty and can be counted on to follow through. They generally avoid conflict and tend to place other people's needs over their own. They look for positive feedback from others and dislike criticism which discourage them. They would need to give themselves the same kindness they have for others.

They understand better by doing rather than learning about theory and concepts. They need to understand and see practical applications before they execute the tasks. They also tend to believe that things are the way they are because they work, which explain why they generally do not try to innovate. They value traditions, security and kindness.



This fits me very well. I do value harmony and cooperation, and don't like conflict. I am very sensitive to others' feelings. I have a great memory, though it was better when I was younger – but I still remember the important things. I am always told I am a good listener and don't butt in where an opinion is not wanted, but when asked I feel I have great input that is sensitive to the other person.

Definitely true on sense of responsibility and duty, do follow through. I respond much better to positive feedback.

No so sure about understanding better by doing – I think I learn both ways. Though, compared to my husband, I am not nearly as conceptual. I do value security and kindness, traditions to an extent.
