Just a short post. On Oct 3 I went down the stairs knee first. As I laid at the bottom of the stairs the first thing that came to mind was thank goodness I didn't break my arm again. The second thought was thank goodness no one saw me. I am and have always been a graceless. Not the first time to fall down stairs. I fell down first thing in the morning. I waited until after lunch to see how my knee felt. It didn't get better so I drove myself to the ER. After a lot of poking and xrays they said it was a sprain, gave me a knee brace so I wouldn't bend it and crutches with orders to rest it. And I have, I have almost completed all of a granny square afghan. The crutches went first. I can't use them at home, not enough room and can't grocery shop with them. Thursday, the 9th I went to the doctor. After much pain and more xrays he said I tore something and needed a MRI. Not what I wanted to hear. This past weekend was parent's weekend at the Naval Academy for some of the mids. I am a sponsor Mom and I wanted to be there. I knew there would be a lot of walking, I thought about using my crutches. Thank goodness I didn't, they would have ended up in the bay. My knee brace about ended up in the trees. I had to rest all weekend. Yesterday I had the MRI and Thursday I see the doctor again. I can walk without the brace but am still having problems with bending my knee.

So that is what is going on with me.

Have a great day!
