Today I hit a new spark level award ---- there is now a gold crown next to my Sparkname and Ive hit 60,000 spark points. Quite an acheivement.

I joined SP in 2006-------------- weighing in at 140 pounds.............. 60,000 points and 8 years later - I weight 138 pounds ---------- still have the big bloated belly - and nnow have a gold crown award.


so whats wrong with this picture? Ive gone down as low as 130 pounds.................... wiggle right back up.

I admit I have learned alot about health - fitness and nutrition. I exercise regularly - am off all meds and am happy about that.......... BUT my body has not changed - and I have not successfully lost the inches - or the weight.

Something serious to think about - and something to focus and work on.

How to change - so that I change.................... that is the question

    We have not talked for a while.

    I guess when I read this post, the good thing that stands our for me is that you have not gained 20 pounds, and have been practicing healthy living.

    I think that is a win.

    Things have recently clicked for me. Research CLA - it helps with belly fat loss. I do kettlebells 30 - 60 minutes a day. Not all swings. I do others to help with the core body. Your bike rides and kettlebell work are both helping you stay strong! Be healthy & stay fit!

    I have been one of those yo-yo dieters for years. I also have been a SP member for a while (2007) and still have never reached my goal of 160 lbs. I would do really well, lose about 50 lbs, then start putting it back on again. I know, however, exactly why that keeps happening. I stop tracking faithfully, back off on workouts, & eventually stop coming by SP at all, falling right back into my bad habits.

    I'm praying that this time will be different, that I won't allow myself to ease up, get lazy, whatever you want to call it.

    I pray that you too will find the motivation to make the changes that need to be made, and to stick with it!

    Congrats on your leveling. thanks for the honest post and a nudge on my own reality check. I have to sometimes think back to what I might be if I hadn't started to make some changes (like tracking) at all. baby steps are still steps that take me forward. WE CAN DO THIS. wishing you much success on your journey.
