Preventive measure

Friday, September 12, 2014

Is what I like to call the procedure I will be having done tomorrow.

It's official title is "Endovenous Laser Ablation". It treats varicose veins that are no longer functioning well by killing them off and encouraging the blood flow to a vein that is better prepared to do the job. : )

Will be on "light duty" for 2 weeks (no strenuous working out or heavy lifting) but walking and even running is encouraged by the next day.
Common sense tells you what not to do in almost everything so I apply it to this also.
Enjoy your week-end Spark friends and take advantage of being able to workout, walk, run it out. It's not a givin ability to many who wish they could.

Wishing you well on this surgery! I heard it can be very painful, or not at all.
Great photo! I am taking advantage as much as I can of my fitness classes before my surgical layoff. Its a complete unknown when I will be able to use my arm again (not that I have been able to do much with it anyway since the break back in Dec 23).
My thoughts will be with you,
    Hugs
