August Ends and September Begins
Sunday, August 31, 2014
August has been a month of ups and downs. My beloved Miata got really sick, to the point of feeling I had to buy a new to me vehicle. Finally got a Kia Sportage that will help me haul things away--much needed as I haven't had the means to do so. Have learned how to be more patient, more grateful for little things, more positive, and more persistent. All good things to learn, no matter what stage in life one is. So thankful for the encouragement of my Spark Friends. You really helped a lot! Haven't been "on track" as much with exercise, but still kept plugging away. And it's been HOT and Humid, drainingly--if that's a word, though evidently the word processor doesn't think so. Found a water leak that has been raising my water bill, but got it fixed--thank you son--but wasn't expecting the extra expense. Still am grateful for the knowledge that my water bill will go down now. Have had a BUSY weekend, but productive. Am looking forward to relaxing and maybe even having some fun tomorrow--a paid Holiday! Looking forward to September. I wanted to quit smoking in August, but too many stress factors kept me from accomplishing that goal. So am setting that as a goal for September--along with getting back to regular daily exercise. I will succeed. At least I didn't gain any weight and even lost a little. YEAH! Hope you all have a great holiday and take time to be grateful for the blessings you have.
