Time for a change!

Things have been more than a little crazy in my life for the last 2 months and needless to say, I have fallen off of the bandwagon so hard! However, the last couple of days I have started to notice that sugar, actually anything sugary, actually makes my stomach hurt. So I think my body is saying, "Quit already! Please be good to me!"

So I have GOT to get back to planning meals and sticking to my routine. Hopefully the fact the I actually get ill now will deter me enough from eating crap! Oh, and I have GOT to get some exercise going! I have got to make it a priority!

I am looking forward to school starting so my life calms down some! Thanks for letting me vent. If you have any healthy recipes or ideas for sticking with it (motivation) that I have to try, please let me know! I am always up for new things.

    Yay!!! We all have "bumps" on our journey that helps us LEARN to do better and that we WANT to do better and not fall down way more than we should, right? :-)

    I've got TONS of healthy and delicious recipes! Here are a few...

    1. SERVING SIZE of spaghetti (whole wheat) and toss with marinara sauce and a whole bag of frozen veggies (it bulks it up and makes it tasty). You can also add some ground turkey or chicken for extra protein.

    n-courses/lentil-enchiladas/ We make this at least once per week or every other. HUBBY LOVES IT. We serve this with a corn/zucchini saute (though you could saute other veggies)

    That's just a few... but they're all excellent and fabulously light! I also make an italian-style turkey burger that I've got a recipe around somewhere for... it's VERY delish!

    Don't have any advice but I am wishing you lots of luck. emoticon Take 1 small step at a time...sometimes slow and steady emoticon is better than fast and erratic. Good Luck!
