Positive changes bring negative results.

Monday, July 21, 2014

I made a positive change in the workplace. The results have been negative as far as weight and activity. I am heavier now than I have been in three years and I have not been motivated enough to keep up with my running. I joined a local gym to help with motivation. I haven't been there in weeks. I do have a plan. The first thing I am going to do is get back on Sparkpeople. There is more motivation here than anyplace else. Once I start building good habits I know bad habits will tend to leave. It is about faith and hard work.

Hey, at least you've turned to the one thing that helped in the past (I'm assuming you were here before), so kudos for that...and you know what? You'll do it again! emoticon emoticon

I found the gym is more of a tool than a motivator. emoticon Don't feel bad. Just one more thing you have learned to take you along your life journey. Maybe try joining a running team on SP to help with motivation?
    Good luck!
