I consistently have more energy now than I've had in years. My confidence is at a new level. My husband comments a couple of times a week about how I seem so much happier and how I am in better shape than he can remember in many years (like over 20).

I used to hate and avoid yoga. I am now taking two classes in yoga a week and have improved my strength, flexibility, and balance already. I have a willingness to try new classes at gym. Last year it took me almost an entire round of BLC to work up the nerve to go to a water aerobics class. This round I decided to try the yoga class and did it the next week, and now I am trying another new class on Tuesday.


Loss in inches – 2” off chest, 3.5” off waist, 4” off stomach, 2” off hips, 1” off each thigh


Fitness test improvements
1 mile uphill week 1= 16:15 week 6 = 15:30
1 mile downhill week 1 = 15:42 week 6 = 14:32

Push-ups – Increased the number I could do in a minute by 50%.

Crunches – Increased the number I could do in a minute by 150%.

3 minute step test – My pulse was basically the same. It measures in the “good” range for my age.
