What a Difference a Week Can Make ...

Just about a week ago (July 4th), I was worried that I was going to fall off the wagon. I had been feeling a bit tired and thinking of food late at night. When I am not doing well, it's the late night snacking that will get to me. That Friday I gave in to eating, though I wasn't hungry. The good thing is I chose a sandwich instead of a dessert. It satisfied me and I was able to stop at that.

Fortunately, I woke up Saturday with a resolve to get myself under better control. I wrote a blog to review my BLC goals. This blog clarified in my mind that I was doing pretty well and that I wanted to finish out strong. I did well Saturday, and by Sunday had actually lost a pound from my Wednesday WI. emoticon

That blog and the thinking about my results set me up for a nice week. I have been right on track with my food and exercise, but more importantly my motivation is very high. I am even finding myself setting goals for the time between BLC rounds. That's a good sign. I have to remember how this simple little idea helped because there will be a next time but if I can nip it in the bud I will continue to get good results. emoticon
