The grass is green, the leaves are out and the flowers are planted.
Thanks to the help of the my husband and kids, all the flowers were planted and the grass mowed. I know there is no way things would have been done otherwise.
I have a cold.
First you get the awful dry throat feeling when it hurts to inhale, just because the air hurts your throat. Then comes the snuffles.
That was last week and week two is the cough.
So, there I am, sitting on the veranda, putting things in the pots and having the kids put in the dirt, patting it down and then to the next.
It was great. Although I sure was tuckered out after.
So, the past week has been me, taking it easy, since I don't want to have a huge coughing fit anytime soon. Don't get me wrong. I am doing things around the house, just not as much as I could normally.
School will be out in another month. My eldest child will no longer be in high school. This is his last year. He is so looking forward to not going to any school anytime soon. I'm glad he made it. There has been some tough times, but he made it.
Can you believe this? My son is 6'3" tall. He towers over his father and me! At family reunions, everyone says, he sure took after one certain side of the family.
Got to love my boy. My only boy. To think, eighteen years ago, he could fit in my arms and snooze.
Have a great day everyone!
Go take on the day!
