The Scale isn't moving, but my body is still showing good changes!

I have spent the last half a decade slowly getting rid of my tight clothes...well, at least packing them into donation bags, but too unmotivated/tired/depressed to haul them into the car and drop them off. After a BIG health scare this past winter that involved a week in the hospital and two weeks off from work, I began taking my own health more seriously. Working with my doctors, a nutritionist, and coming back to SparkPeople the last 4 months have turned my health around. My energy level has slowly improved and I finally pulled out those bags for donation to go back through them and get them out of the house --de-clutter my past. Well, actually my current clothes have been getting somewhat loose, my jeans are downright baggy, but I'm not confident enough yet to go invest in new clothes after all, I did fill up a huge lawn bag of clothes that got too small too quickly just a few years ago. Well, guess what? I pulled out 11 pairs of jeans (two with tags still attached) and they fit!!! I can't believe I am shopping out of my own past wardrobe and no pinching, gaps, or bulging that caused me to pack them up all those years ago. So two sizes of larger clothes are going into that donation bag, and going to charity---and I'm looking forward to the day when these 'new' old clothes are ready to march back into the bag. p.s. I'm not wearing the ones with tags just yet, hoping I may not linger at this size long enough to wear out 11 pairs of jeans! Color me re-motivated to stick to my plan.
