Spring is bringing out the changes in me too!

This winter has been pretty harsh-yes I live in Canada and all the winters are harsh, but this year was way colder than I remember past winters. Tons of snow, as per usual, but really bitter temperatures with lots of wind (and ice storms too). So yesterday was such a blessing to have sunshine and a high temperature of 10 degrees celsius. We still had our winter coats on and there is, of course, still snow on the ground (and ice in spots), but it was so great to go for a walk and just enjoy the outside air. I had already done my 3 mile workout (Leslie Sansone DVD), but I ended up enjoying a walk with my family for at least 3.7 miles. I say "at least" because I did my best to calculate the route, but some of it was in a park which isn't on a map (so I didn't count that part).
Today I did my usual 3 miles with Leslie again and boy my legs are feeling it today. I feel happy that there was a time that I'd have said "Let's drive down to the park and then go for a walk on a trail", especially since I'd already worked out. Instead, we walked the 3 kms to the park and back AND walked some trails.
