Hi fellow Sparkies!
Thought I'd share today's thoughts with you as they are good to hear(read)? : )
Looking at the calendar I noticed low and behold I missed one very proud achievement anniversary a few days back on March 6th.
Two years ago I vowed to take my last inhale from a cigarette forever and no matter what, not ever go back.
Detox is a difficult battle and I just knew I needed to do something as I crawled into my then 7th week of it. If some kind of help didn't show up all of this would all be for naught.
Looking for something on You tube to help me fight back and ease the stress I tripped over it( or I should say "her"). It was Coach Nicole promoting a SparkPeople.com DVD workout segment and the rest is history. Not only did I ease my frustration of withdrawal but I also gained the knowledge of what's needed to fight addiction.
The rest is history and who I am today. In shape,17 lbs lighter and a non-smoker.
I'm a new me who watches what she eats. Loves working out, feels great and have the energy my friends balk at.
Can't Thank You enough SparkPeople.Com, Coach Nicole, Spark friends and all my fellow team members and as always Dr's Demchuk and Dr Dyer for giving me a life worth living.
This May I celebrate 2 years as a Spark member.
Applause,applause to all of you.
