not hating a photo of myself

Thursday, February 20, 2014

I'm on the far right. I was doing this workout:

It's called the 500 rep workout. I went all the way down the list with a 15 pound kettle ball and then repeated FIVE times! Beast mode!!! I was so stinkin' proud of myself. It took almost an hour to get through.

My trainer took a photo of the group and posted it on Facebook. It was the first time I've looked at a photo that someone else took of me working out and I didn't hate the photo. I can see strength in my body and legs. What a refreshing feeling to feel love toward myself instead of loathing.

I'm still trudging along in my 12 week contest with those girls for the money. I have lost 2 pounds since starting, but I've lost an entire inch around my waist!! That's the best part. My belly is becoming more and more how I want it to be. I actually saw the beginnings of some lines forming on the sides of my stomach in the mirror the other day after I got out of the shower.

Today is a "fasting" day. I started last night. Will fast until 4:00 p.m. today. Currently, I'm drinking some hot tea. My new favorite flavor is Vanilla Chai.

My exercise this week so far has consisted of a hike in the cold and snow. Hot Yoga. Two times of training at the gym with my group.

Today, I get a massage.

A well deserved massage. My body deserves it!

You deserve to be pleased. Well done. The Spark emoticons don't seem to be working at the moment, otherwise I would have added a few!
