I have decided to incorporate intermittent fasting into my program. The plan is to start on Wednesday evenings 6:00 and go until Thursday evenings 6:00 abstaining from food.

This morning as I was getting ready for work, I made my husband and one of my daughters some breakfast. I skipped making myself something. As I was leaving for work, one of the nice things I noticed was that it felt really good to NOT have to worry or obsess about what I was bringing for lunch or breakfast today. It was kind of a relief. I didn't expect that.

Anyway, I'm currently drinking my coffee as I write this and I will alternate between water, hot tea, and coffee today until tonight when I go home and make an early special "valentine's dinner" for my family.

I've got some cute ideas I'm going to do. I'm making little ziploc baggies for each family member that has stuff to make smores inside and on the top I will write "I love you s'more and s'more each day!" I'm trying to decide whether I want to put those on each person's place mat or if I want to save them for tomorrow morning to put with their valentine package. I got each of them a special drinking mug that is cute and some chocolates, of course. The rest of the meal will be quite the affair. I am going to make steak, fully loaded potatoes, ceasar salad, rolls and I have a desert for them. I will eat the steak, salad, potatoes and abstain from the rolls and have one bite of desert or completely abstain from the desert.

This is going to be quite the affair because I have never attempted to make steaks for the whole family before. I'll be reading up on it today to make sure I get a good technique.

Regardless, I will have the table set pretty and the INTENTION is for them to all feel loved and special, so I'm sure that will happen emoticon
