Stupid Scale ; )

Friday, February 07, 2014

I need to keep reminding myself of this:

I weighed for the first time in a couple of months and the scale had not moved. While I really wanted to be able to post the blog "GOAL!" instead of "Stupid Scale" it was not to be. But, given that it is the first time I weighed since the holidays, it could have been worse, a gain instead of staying steady. But I really want to get those last five pounds. I need to ask myself:

I WILL get there and bust through this latest plateau, it's been a long journey and I will not give up now. Besides I feel great about the progress I've made! And if you're on this journey too and have hit a rough spot, don't give up it's worth the trip and:

We can do this!

Oh yes…I can relate with this all too well. I also wait months to get on the scale. The number is the same. So, I'm not disappointed, but I really need to drop the excess 10#. emoticon Just take it "one-day-at-a-time."

Kudos to you for 1) not weighing yourself for a couple of months, 2) staying steady during the holidays and 3) having such a positive attitude. All NSV's in my book. Yes, we are a work in progress and each day does bring us the opportunity to get one small step towards our goals; no matter what they are.
