As I think about the winter challenge, I reflect on the past challenge and realize how miserably I failed. Quite frankly, life got in the way and I just couldn't get it together. I'm not 100% certain I'm there yet, but I'm working on it.
So, I'm sticking to the basics again for my goals. Only difference is I'm being realistic knowing what the next few months holds for me.
First off, I gotta get more water. I've fallen back into the habits of sweet tea and sodas. More water!!!
Second, more veggies, fruits and such. I'm getting this one down again so I need to continue it. I find if I plan ahead and go to the store I have more fruits and veggies on hand so I use them for my snacks vs. junk. Goal is to keep at it!
Cardio - This is my third goal. Now, I'm not committing to any "set" thing because it's too cold for me to be outside and we have no gym membership right now, but I'm going to commit to moving more at work, using the steps, etc. Once we get back on our feet and get our membership back, I'm going to spend some time with the cardio machines. Until then, it's get in a little here and there to make it all add up!
That's it, nothing major. I refuse to let life get in the way of even the most basic goals.
