November 21st, 2013 God gained a beautiful angel (Eleni D Tsicouris )

After noon everybody, Brianna here again. This morning at 3:11 A.M my grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep. She is eager to meet again with her son Tony, as well as her mother and father. She has fought long and hard enough, it's time for her to be at peace.

Miss me but let me go -
When I came to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me ,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little- but not too long,
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love we once shared
Miss me but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take,
and each must go alone.
Its all apart of the Master's plan.
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds,
miss me but L E T me go. ~

Grandma, I as well as hundreds of other people will LOVE and miss you forever. I will keep a piece of you with me forever. Run free Grandma

    So sorry for your loss. Ms. Eleni will be missed, she had many friends here on SparkPeople. She may not have been able to get around as well as she would have liked, but she had friends far and near on this website. Some she even met in person. I'm know you will all miss her but know that she is no longer suffering and is at peace. Please take good care.

    As many of you know Ms.Eleni was my 'forever friend' we got to know each other when she read one of my blogs..and disagreed with me. WHAT? But I respectfully wrote her back and told her that I certainly respected her opinion and her perspective on whatever it was that I wrote at that time...it's kind of impossible to pinpoint it because I write blogs prolifically.

    Then I was thrilled when your grandma told me that Bill was coming to Ft. Myers for a bowling tournament and she'd love to meet me...we had become fast friends by then and I couldn't wait to meet her.

    She drove down and took her walker inside and told me that she was 'showing off' a little with how well she could get around. I thought to myself...now this woman is the 'real deal' we talked over lunch like we had known each other a lifetime and I think we probably DID know each other in a former life!

    She came back to our house and I showed her some of the jewelry I was working on and she was so enamored with it and so complimentary. I knew it had to be ELENI praise worthy for her to gush...so it was a supreme compliment. I gave her some little something and you would have thought it was a Taj Majal diamond...she just loved it.

    She and Bill came over to our consignment gallery the next day and we took pics (I'll have to dig them up) and then we all went out to dinner. We loved Bill too...and had the VERY best time with your grandma and grandpa.

    She loved you with her heart and soul Brianna...she constantly told us about how helpful you were and how much she loved you and all of her kids. She will now be your MOST powerful angel and will watch over you like the fierce watchdog she was here on earth.

    I asked my beautiful son to welcome her as she arrived, my powerful Josh angel will show her around and introduce her to the 'cool crowd' of angels! She'll fit right in!

    I wish you could teach your grandpa how to spark...we'd all be happy to support Eleni's Bill in ANY way we can. He was the bright diamond in her crown.

    I'm happy she is at peace, she suffered too long. emoticon

    We lost a beautiful person today, inside and out. She was so special to everyone who either knew her in person or online. But know that she will be with you, in the flowers that bloom, the butterflies, the beautiful sun shine, when you see a beautiful sunset, she will always be there with her arms around you. She had so much love in her heart, for family and friends. Not goodbye, Eleni, just so long for awhile!

    Did she write that? It sounds just like her. I'm so glad she went peacefully and transformed into the beautiful angel I knew she'd always be.

    I will bet she's smiling and happy with Tony and her parents, and yet also with all of you, with her comforting arms around you. Never ever not believe she's left you, because she will always be with each of you.

    The sadness will pass and you will once more find signs of her with you, every day, if you just look. Please give your grandpa a hug from me, and yourself, too, and know that you are all in my prayers and thoughts.

    She was blessed to have you all, as you were blessed to have her. Eleni was an angel on this plane, just as she is an angel now. I know my life changed just by knowing her here and I will always be happier having known her. I look forward to seeing her again.

    Don't ever forget that smile, Eleni, but where you're at...there are always smiles. emoticon With much love.
