Blog Challenge - Day 9

Sunday, November 17, 2013

The Source! www.sparkpeople.com/mypa

Answer one question each day:

9. What supports do you need in your life to help you reach your short- or medium-term goal or challenge? Do you have those supports? What undermines you in reaching your goals? How do you use those supports to your advantage? How do you work around those things that undermine you?

Wow, that's a lot of question to ponder! I'm really rather supported by The Hubster, co-workers and neighbors. There are 1-2 folks in the mix that don't share my enthusiasm for ALL of my goals, but I there isn't anyone that is 100% dead-set against my efforts.

What do I need? Sometimes it just takes a bit of focus and an outlet. There are times where more organization is required, but that isn't impossible for me to tackle.

I am my worst enemy. If there's anything that will undermine my efforts, it's my ability to get and stay in my way.

Can't. Let. That. HAPPEN! emoticon

Happy rest of the weekend, SparkFriends! ~ Trish

Funny... when I read "I am my own worst enemy", I first thought, "yep. I know exactly what you are talking about Trish." Then I thought, "we should really be our own best friends."

I have always found that I am my worst enemy too. I wonder how we can change that to being our best supporter.

Oh, do I understand that "I'm my own worst enemy" talk! If anyone else is against me, they're going to have to go some to be as down on me as I am sometimes. Let's shore each other up, shall we???? Like you, I have a very supportive hubby and no one who actually works against any of my goals in life. So why do I have to be so hard on me? Something to ponder now!

I didn't realize how important support was until I had a definite lack of it and actually had to seek it out (through SP and other places) - you are indeed fortunate to have a good network around you! Sometimes, even just a few small words of encouragement can be the motivation a person needs on a low day.

Methinks I may take this blog challenge. :)

And, just because it exists - here is an emoticon with a mullet:
