Blog Challenge - Day 1

Answer one question each day:

1. Have you set a new short- or medium-term goal or challenge recently? Do you have a goal or challenge that you have been working on for a while? What is it? What do you hope to gain from it?

Not sure that my goals are new, necessarily, but my commitment is renewed.

- Take and pass the PEM exam; gads, what a slog! What I hope to gain is more affirmation that I'm qualified and knowledgeable as an Engineering Manager. My goal is to take the exam in the first or second week in December.

- Complete and submit my binder for Master Hand Knitting Level 1; lots of info here:

I am doing this for myself. I enjoy knitting and want to create the best work possible and learn a TON while doing it. I'd love to have this done by the end of the year, but January 2014 is likely more realistic.

- 12 by the 20th; I challenged my co-workers that we'd get to our respective fitness centers/health clubs twelve times by the 20th of the month. My goal is to establish better habits and a solid routine to improve my strength, flexibility and overall health. This is a November goal!

    Yep, so not looking forward to the end of DST but it happens tonight. I did get my hosta beds cleaned out today and most of the yard are is gathered up ready to clean and put away - maybe tomorrow.

    You are a busy, busy woman. I know I survived grad school, but I'm not sure how. I think there were lots of tears and a messy house.

    I love that you have co-workers who help you stick to your fitness goals. I don't have that where I work. At least not now. We are setting up a wellness committee. They are talking daily walks, weight watchers, etc. This is my sneaky way of getting more people to be active so I stay active.
