but very busy. DH was out of town so I had to do all the running around that goes with raising two boys, on my own
My younger son had a soccer tournament at his school and my older son had his usual soccer training at the club. I knew I wouldn't have much time during the day so I woke up early and did my workout - 30 day shred level one and a bit of Walk at Home.
After dropping the boys to their respective destinations, I went back home to do some reading since I am doing some training tomorrow (finance). I enjoyed the reading, and I guess because I was not bored or stressed, the munchies kept away.
At noon I had to go pick the boys. It was hot and there was quite a bit on traffic. We had to wait for my second son for almost one hour at the school, but during that time I continued to read while my older son played games on my phone.
I bought them lunch on the way home (this is usually their treat for the week, they eat fast food on Saturdays after soccer). I DID NOT EAT FAST FOOD - I went home and ate brown rice, veges and lentils!
By the time I got home, I had to check their homework, sign their diaries and read all the little notes from their different teachers.
It was a busy day but all the important things got taken care of, especially my fitness and my nutrition.
I really respect single parents who have to do all this on their own ALL THE TIME!
So now I start another week of trying to do the right thing at least 90% of the time and I know everything will fall in place pretty soon.
