First off, a big thanks to all my sparkies who reached out to me with words of love and encouragement after my last blog. You guys are the best!
This week has gone great. I have stayed on truck even when it was not so easy. I have management to keep the munchies off (simply by ignoring the urge to munch and drinking water instead, sometimes this is so hard). I have also managed to keep up with my workouts. Yesterday during my morning walk, I found myself saying how tired I was. I quickly arrested those negative thoughts. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" By the end of the walk, I was feeling very energetic.
I know the weekend is not going to be easy, I snack more during the weekends because I am surrounded by food and two young footballers (my sons) who eat quite a bit. I will just take it one day at a time.
I am deliberately not reporting about the weight loss so far (the accountant in me always wants to be prudent). I will report when I have it 'locked down', that is - when the healthy habits I had developed start to feel like second nature once again.
