It is so easy to get discouraged when we falter on our pathway to fitness. But I look at it as EVERY effort is a small victory.
Perhaps I am not where I wanted to be by now in terms of what I weigh. But guess what? I have significantly improved my diet overall. I have dramatically decreased my binging - which has been a problem for me my entire life. MOST of the time I make wise food choices and manage to find time to exercise. I have learned techniques from SP to stop binges in their tracks - at least most of the time. Have I completely achieved success? No. But I am not discouraged!
All of the things I mentioned above are VICTORIES! Where would I be if I never even tried? A good deal heavier, that's for sure. Today I am in good health, and definitely more physically fit than when I started.
STOP being so hard on yourselves! The fact that you are still working on it and have not completely given up is something to be proud of! Hold your heads high and be PROUD of what you have accomplished!
