Stop trying to lose weight and just lose it!

I'm getting frustrated with myself.
I haven't gained weight in almost two weeks but then again, I haven't lost any either. The scale is resting at 185 these past few days but it isn't so bad - I lost two inches from my waist last week!
What is frustrating me is that ever since Saturday of this past weekend, I have only myself to blame for my inability to LOSE weight. My friends and I had a musical movie marathon (we watched Grease, Moulin Rouge, and Burlesque) and I bought two cases of pop for the shindig. There was so much left over and I've just been chugging it back ever since. Last night I finished it all off so the carbon shouldn't be shafting me any longer, but still... will power, wherefore art thou?
After work tonight I have to run home, something that I am looking forward to implicitly. I'm going to be finishing up Week 2 of the C25K challenge. Currently it's a 31-minute workout consisting of 5-minute warm up, 21-minutes alternating 1.5-minute jogging and 2-minute walking, and a 5-minute cool down at the end. It's great because I can actually last the full duration. It feels good to be able to say, "I'm fit!" Or at least, "I'm getting fit!"
