Something strange and a happy ending

Friday, July 05, 2013

Tonight I was at Walmart and have a story to tell. I got my cart and was heading into the store when I saw a little girl crying and she was looking like she was lost. So I asked her what was wrong and she said she lost her mom. So I said I'd take her to customer service and they could call her mom. So that's what we did, but I noticed a guy watching us and then he followed us into the service area. We were waiting for someone to help us so I asked the little girl questions and found out her name and that she went fishing today and they didn't catch anything. This guy kept watching us and then a lady was free to page the mom. The guy just stood there watching and then the mom came. The little girl ran to her mom, I went in another direction and the guy went back into the main part of the store. Who do you think this guy was?

I know that this comment is way after your posting; however, the man could have been simply making sure that the little girl was reunited with her mother. I could see my beloved MrV &/or me doing the same for our own peace-of-mind.

    God bless!

I'm glad it had a happy ending and I hope the gentleman was who KrazyKat suggested... although, if he was, why didn't he take the little girl to customer service?

I have a family member that worked at one of the stores, There are a lot of employees that go around for security in plain cloths. They get rewards for catching people doing wrong things. Maybe that was the case. I hope anyway. There are some messed up people in the world today.

Its possible that he was the security guy. They usually aren't in "Walmart" attire, AKA undercover. LOL. Glad you found her mom though. I avoided Walmart this weekend and Hyvee it was nuts with all the people here.

I'm sure the guy made you feel very uncomfortable. I'm glad that you were able to help the little girl find her mom.
