July 2 - Sweat!

I never did get that walk in with my friend yesterday, as we had tornado warnings and torrential rain all afternoon, and the rain extended on and off all night.. So today is another day, and hopefully, we will get it in today.

I ate very well yesterday, and even had enough calories left to have a little bowl of cereal with blueberries last night as my evening snack. This was good, very good. I might just have to make it a habit, because it was a very substantial snack, and I slept pretty well, which has been a big issue for me lately.

Today's SP advice is:

Work up a sweat. Exercise is one of the best ways to de-stress. Pop in a workout video, hop on your bike, or grab your jump rope. Picture the stress leaving your body through your pores, and let it go.

So this morning, I did just that, before I even read today's advice. I hopped on my bike and rode for 15 hard minutes, and then I picked up a set of 5 lb dumbells and did some lunges, some tricep work, some ab work. It's all good, my friends. It felt good. Baby step #2, and I'm still all in.

    It's okay, T. Weather has a way of detouring our plans. No tornadoes here, but rains and more rain. Love your *happiness* for snack and rest. It's all those lovely little blessings that add up. Try sliced bananas and red grapes, T. I am a hog when it comes to a bowl of those.

    Got the sweat factor in today. Rowing and bike, but didn't 'do' any weights. Gettin' ready to 'do' some crunches and wall push-ups though. Kind a' wimpy, I know, but like you say, "baby steps."

    Great attitude! Yesterday I had a bad headache. Felt sluggish that I didn't workout. However, today is a new day for me. Going to get a good workout in-PERSEVERE! emoticon
