Sad Day on Whidbey

It's a sad day today after we lost a section of our beloved island to a landslide, then we lost our I-5 bridge to an accident, many of us look at our two modes of exit from this beautiful island paradise with a crooked eye. Deception Pass bridge, though awesome to behold would definitely not deliver any survivors if it were to collapse. Our other means of departure is via the ferry which now runs at a 90 minutes wait, following the I-5 collapse. Looks like I'll be staying on the island for awhile to come.
