No time for headaches

Sunday, April 28, 2013

I have a terrible headache today. The pain seems focused right behind my eyes, and I really just want to crawl back in bed and sleep it off. However... I don't have time for that, and I've already slept away too much of the day.

I've been feeling pretty overwhelmed lately. I'm still getting over being sick, and I'm struggling to remember the last time I actually felt GOOD. Work has been stressful, and I can't seem to stay on top of everything I need to. I'm not doing any better at home, either. My "to do" lists keep slipping day to day and I'm starting to wonder how I'll ever find the time to do all the things I need to do, let alone any of the things I want to do!

I suspect everyone goes through that feeling at some point or other, and I keep telling myself things will get better eventually. In the mean time, I am trying not to let the stress get to me and focusing on one thing at a time.

Thanks for letting me vent. :)

Did you know they are offering monthly, free meditation classes here at our workplace? Just a thought, for something to help manage stress.

It's going to be a good week for you. Maybe not fully stress-free, but it's going to be cool and pleasant. Mildly icky weather, but still good for a lunchtime walk to clear your head and let go of the stress (just remember some allergy medicine, since it's pollen season).

Sorry to hear you have a headache. My hubby gets headaches all the time, sometimes due to stuff he isn't supposed to eat. He has no stress since he is now retired. I, on the other hand, hardly ever get headaches. I feel for you and for him.... Take it easy!

Your headaches are probably caused through your stress.
